100 Hours of Prayer

In celebration of the 100th Birthday of Lubbock, Texas, the Men's Ministry of Monterey Church of Christ will be hosting 100 Hours of Prayer. Beginning Wednesday, March 19th at 8:00 am and ending Easter Sunday, March 23rd at 12:00 Noon, the Men's Ministry and the Monterey Family invite all members of our community to join us as we offer prayers of "thanks' for our Creator's guidance in the past and "blessings" for the future.

We will suggest that during the 100 Hours, leaders of every church, synagogue, and temple encourage their members to pray that each one of us might treat our family, friends and fellow citizens with God's love, grace and mercy…everyday. Please also pray that God will continue to watch over our community.

It is our hope to end the 100 Hours with a moment of Silent Prayer offered at 12:00 Noon on Easter Sunday all across our city. For sixty seconds, we will pause to give thanks for our past and request blessings for our future.
